1st Witton Park Rainbows had a fantastic time completing the roaring Winter Challenge badge before Christmas, they are a fabulous bunch of their own special crazy. It is great that in such a small community the girls are having the opportunity to build friendships with girls from different schools. We have just had a lovely visit from Jet and Ben the police dogs, they told us how to keep safe when out and about. We have some girls making their promise very soon and have been playing fun games to explore ways of keeping ours. Last week, we learnt the spagetti game which is their new favorite because 'It's SO funny watching Lily, our Leader, try and bend!' Nice to know the Rainbows love their leaders really!

1st Witton Park Brownies have also been working on the Roaring Winter Challenge. They enjoyed making ice castles out of marshmallows and other fabulous activities. The girls played a huge part in the planning of activities and had a delayed Burns inspired evening tasting Irn Bru and Haggis hoying with suitable laughter and carnage. They are also looking forward to an adventure at Witton Castle mini cinema for a movie night and will be starting the Swallows and Amazons Challenge soon. The girls are really excited about getting out and about more in coming weeks.
