We help girls grow
Girlguiding is what each girl wants it to be. She can choose her own path through our activities and events. It might be giggles in sleeping bags. Songs around a campfire. The buzz of getting a new badge. The sound of thousands of excited girls at their very own music festival. The thrill of doing something for the first time. Coming home exhausted and full of stories.

The Girlguiding adventure continues for those aged 18 – 30.
We offer a range of opportunities that young women can take part in through guiding. These include the chance to gain new skills with training or qualifications, adventures at home and abroad, and social opportunities to network with other young women in guiding.
There is a role to suit every adult within Girlguiding.
Volunteering with Girlguiding is flexible so there is a role to suit everyone – from weekly section meetings to one off events.
Not all roles are young member focused either, whatever your skills, there is a place for you within Durham South.

Trefoil Guild is a branch of Girlguiding for Women and Men aged 18+.
Across the UK, there are over 1,100 Trefoil Guilds with over 20,000 members – some meet every week, others less frequently, perhaps in the evening or in the afternoon.
Trefoil Guild gives opportunities for members to try new things, take on a new personal challenge and escape the daily routine.
