Safer Guiding Face to Face Training – 29th March

Safer Guiding face to face training, suitable for all adult volunteers and leaders.

This training is held as 4 hour face to face course, with time some breaks. This equips adults with the necessary skills and knowledge to support them keep girls safe, how Girlguiding safeguard their members, risk assessing and what to do in an emergency. This is the latest Safer Guiding course, and attending this course is an alternative to completing the course online or via a webinar.

In person training allows for discussions and support from your peers and your trainer.

This training is a cross county training, open to Durham South, Durham North, Cleveland, Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle volunteers. Durham South volunteers should sign up to this training via the members area, and all other counties should sign up using the form below.

Dress Code: Uniform is to be worn

Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be available but participants will need to bring their own packed lunch.

Cancellations: This training is free for all attendees, however there will be a £10 charge to anyone who books, doesn’t cancel and fails to attend
