The 3rd Spennymoor Brownies have waved goodbye to one of their original brownies, Lucy, who has been with them since they opened in May 2019.
Lucy Woodgate reached her Brownies Silver award, mainly during lockdown. Along side this, Lucy also had her hair cut off for the Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer, AND swam 1500 metres to raise £388 towards her cousins trip to do voluntary work in an elephant sanctuary in Thailand.
Her leaders, Linda & Lisa, are both very proud of her and sad to see her go as she continues to achieve amazing things with her swimming club!
She would love to share her treasured cushion with you which is a lovely reminder of her brownie journey.
