Barnard Castle and Startforth Brownies enjoyed evenings litter picking around the town. This was part of their Take Action Theme from the programme and gave the girls a chance to get out around the town and see how the environment could be improved.
Some of the girls were so inspired they went away wanting to do something similar nearer their homes and in the villages near Barnard Castle.
