On Saturday 24th June 2023 the 5th Darlington Rainbows and Brownies took part in the Darlington Community Carnival. This years theme was Legends and Fairytales so they depicted Hansel & Gretel along with the wicked witch, her gingerbread house and lots of sweets.
The carnival parades from the town centre to Stanhope park where there are many stalls, performances and workshops. During the event Darlington Community Carnival has a street collection in aid of Family Help who offer specialist domestic abuse support for women and women with children fleeing domestic abuse.
