We arrived by train via Platform 9 3/4 then we went off to Pax Lodge, the Girlguiding World Centre, by bus. We had a tour then games and songs from around the world. After that we had lunch, followed by a Pinning Ceremony.
Off we went again, by tube this time, and were treated like VIPs by staff & fellow travellers alike. A highlight was when a round of “Big Brownie Smile” was given a standing ovation by every single person on the train! We took in the usual sights of The Houses of Parliament, London Eye and Buckingham Palace, completing our very own London challenge as we went.
We then headed back to Kings Cross to return to the North East by train. All were awarded with the London Day Trip challenge badge which perfectly illustrated our day out!
